What is Wellness Wednesday?
The third Wednesday of every month Via! hosts a Wellness Fair. Each month community programs related to the focus of the month will be on hand to provide up-to-date information on health and wellness topics and community resources. Health screenings such as blood pressure, blood sugar and cholesterol screenings, among others are provided. Typically, there is a $2.00 fee for blood sugar checks and $3.00 fee for chloeserol screenings to cover the cost of the testing strips. All other screenings are free.
