DANCE CLASSES

Clogging

Instructor: Ronnie Doggett

Clogging continues to be a source of fun. It combines clogging footwork, and square dancing. Many of the old square dance figures are done.

(Muscular Strength and Range of Motion)

NETA Certified and SilverSneakers Fitness Instructor

Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement, and activity for daily living skills. Hand weights, elastic tubing, and a ball are offered for resistance, and a chair is used for seated and/or standing support.

45 to 50 minute class

SilverSneakers® II

(Cardio Circuit)

NETA Certified and SilverSneakers Fitness Instructor
Combine fun with fitness to increase your cardiovascular and muscular endurance power with a standing circuit workout. Upper body strength work with hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a ball is alternated with non-impact aerobic choreography. A chair is offered for support, stretching and relaxation exercises.

45 to 50 minute class

Yoga For Everyone

Beginner Tai Chi

  Learn the ancient martial art of

Tai Chi….slow, gentle, but

beginner form that builds balance, strength, flexibility and overall health. This class can be modified for almost everyone’s needs. Please wear loose clothing and comfortable shoes.

WTQD is a global event always on the last Saturday in

April running time zone to time zone

with New Zealand kicking off the world wide event.

Intermediate Tai Chi

Instructor:  Marty Burrow

This class is designed for the student who wants to increase knowledge in Tai Chi. In this class you can polish up your 24 simplified form and applications, learn  the 42 combined form, Tai Chi sword, other intermediate Tai Chi forms.

Previous Tai Chi experience is a must.
