Following
two years of planning and preparation, in 2004, the Via!
Board of Directors decided to begin plans to build the
expansion and conduct a $2,500,000 capital campaign to
fund the project. The funds will pay for the construction
of the building expansion, related equipment, and build
an endowment.
In preparation for Bridging Generations capital
campaign, the Board of Directors enlisted the support of
the local Community Foundation to conduct a feasibility
study. The study concluded that Via! could be successful
in raising the $2,500,000, with the additional recommendation
of professional fundraising counsel.
We strongly believe the Bridging Generations campaign
offers a unique opportunity to invest in healthier futures
and the concept of living life to the fullest. This exciting
expansion of our facility will strengthen our capacity
to serve the Mobile community and broaden the scope of
our services. By addressing the diverse needs of our clients,
we thereby, fulfill our mission.
